How it works…

Each session will last around 45 minutes to an hour - I’ll take a few minutes at the start to get to know your dog and settle them in to the studio - there will be a lot for them to sniff and explore before they settle down! Depending on how energetic your dog is it might be best to take them for a good walk first so that they are a bit tired, but try to avoid any mud and sticky weeds!

Each session must be booked in advance to avoid disappointment and there is a £50 booking fee payable in advance which will be deducted from your chosen package. Please give me a bark to book your spot

If for any reason your dog isn’t settling down and I am unable to shoot at least 5 good portraits we can rearrange at a time to suit you - I can also bring the studio to your house* if that would help.

Please remember to bring some of their favourite treats and squeaky toys to help grab their attention while I am photographing - I will have a bag of treats as well but if your pet has any special dietary requirements it’ll be better to have their own food.

After the shoot I will go through the photos with you and then send you a link to a gallery to select the images you’d like to keep, and then they will be fully edited and posted on a USB for you to print as many copies as you choose.

*Travel outside the Reading area will be added if necessary

Personally, I’m not a fan of the free photoshoot with lots of costly hidden extras so I prefer to work on an up-front charging basis for shoots, we have 3 packages to suit your budget…..

The Kibble Package… £95

up to 40 minutes with your pet using one set up - you will receive a USB with 5 digital files ready to print

We can also offer a range of bespoke products such as framed prints and canvases and imaginative editing if you would like to add on any extras

I’ve been a professional photographer for 13 years now and a lifelong dog-lover. We have a blue chow chow called Frida - she’s a real character and we love her to bits but if there is an award for stubbornest dog she wins it paws down!
